The Joseph Phelps, Freestone Vineyards Guest Center is situated on two and a half acres at the intersection of Bodega Highway and Bohemian Highway, ideally located to introduce visitors to our Sonoma Coast wines and the Freestone Community. The Guest Center provides a warm and welcoming location for wine tasting, sales of our highly acclaimed wines as well as education about the Sonoma Coast growing area. Visiting guests will also be treated to a tasting of select Joseph Phelps Napa Valley wines during their visit.

Hours: Seven days a week, 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

No appointment is necessary to visit our Freestone location. Have a group of six or more? We invite you to call ahead or email Stephen Pavy at spavy@jpvwines.com so that we may save a seat at the table for you and your group.

We host a Second Sunday event each second Sunday of the month, 12:00 – 4:00 p.m., where we feature local food options paired with a selection of our Sonoma Coast and Napa Valley wines. Location: Approximately an hour and a half’s drive north from San Francisco on U.S. Highway 101, you’ll find Freestone Vineyards near the hamlet of its namesake. Follow scenic Bodega Highway (State Highway 12) past Sebastopol through western Sonoma County. Just 8 miles from the Pacific Ocean, turn right onto Bohemian Highway and take an immediate left onto El Camino Bodega. The Freestone Vineyards guest center will be on your left, and you will be in the town of Freestone, one of California’s most exciting new winegrowing regions.
